The First Evicted Contestant in the Voice of Steemit Battle Stage

The vos-25 battle stage came to an abrupt end and it's quite unfortunate that two contestants got evicted from this stage, leaving 10 contestants to continue their journey. I won't say this is the end of their journey as they still have opportunities to develop and embrace music on steemit in this community. They also stand a chance to be trained. So this show doesn't limit or end their talent. Let's talk about the first contestant to get evicted from the battle stage, @shahidalinaz. It's quite unfortunate that we no longer have Pakistani contestants in the show as he was the only Pakistani contestant left. Let's take a look at the exciting moments we had with him while he was in the show.

He's actually a passionate singer who always wants to convey emotions in his song. I give thanks to him that this show came into existence because of him. It all started when I chose to sing with him and learn Hindu songs. My first lesson was on Tum Hi Ho. We started creating this bond of friendship online and looking at the way things went, I decided to create this competition.

He did his audition for the blinds stage with a beautiful song that captured my emotions. He sang a song i learnt from him. So evidently, he used this to win the blinds and there's one thing I admire about his voice. This calmness and composure he puts when singing. Another vocal quality I admire from this personality is his ability to be ready for whatever song presented before him. After successfully entering the judges stage, he survived eviction as the judges didn't set him up for eviction. His choice of song did a lot of justice. He started off as contestant 2 before the contestants label was dissolved.

During the theatre stage, we actually carried out some form of training in intonations, rhyming our voice with that of the instrumental and following the beats accordingly. He recorded himself over 3 times and got it right. He survived the theatre week and joined in the battles but as a solo singer. It was actually difficult to pair him with an external person. He had to sing alone even though the nature of the song is not meant to be sung alone.

He didn't survive the battle stage because he didn't really undergo deep training and being a solo singer with that song was difficult as well. The only recommendation I'll give him when developing his music career is that he should try and work on singing with beats accordingly. That's his weak point, but his voice is some warm and soft and his acapella is just so appealing.
