Vos-25 Stage 5 — The Bilingual Stage Singing Competition

It's a new stage in the Voice of Steemit Singing Competition — Edition 1. This competition is gradually coming to an end, as we have two more stages. This stage would be the most difficult stage. How? From the title and thumbnail, you can decipher that it has to do with a bilingual setup. Contestants would be trained on how to sing in a different language other than their main language.

This is important because as the host, I feel this would bring us together and prevent racism of any sort. Nigerians get to sing in a different language they don't know, while Venezuelans and Bangladeshis do the same. What does this stage entail?

The Bilingual Stage

The battle stage was a huge success, but it's quite unfortunate that the number was reduced from 12 to 10, implying that only 10 contestants would participate in this stage. This stage is categorised into three sections based on the nationalities involved. The 10 contestants are from 3 different counties.

Venezuelan2
Nigeria7
Bangladeshi1

The contestants involved are

Nigerians@vicvine25 @nsijoro, @whitie, @glorystar21, @us-andrew, @bee5, @deetalka6
Venezuelans@deutron and @lunasilver

Our Pakistani contestants got evicted in the last stage, leaving three surviving nationalities. This stage is going to be a solo performance and not a group performance. Contestants would have to fight to stay in the next stage, as 5 contestants would be evicted from this stage. The judges won't be there to save you if you have bribed them 😁. All members of the Steemit platform will cast their votes in a voting poll which I'll create once the performance is done and the stage comes to an end.

Who selects songs to be sung and what songs were selected by these contestants?

Nigerians are the majority in this show, but they won't be given preferential treatment, as everyone on this show is a potential winner regardless of the voice used in singing. It would be a good thing to hear Nigerians sing Spanish and Hindi songs, and it would even be more interesting to hear Venezuelans and Bangladeshis sing English/Naija songs.

@deutronHow are you my Friend ? By Johnny drille
@lunasilverUyo Meyo by Teni
@mamun123456Fix you by Cold play
@deetalka6Tum Hi Ho by Aashiqui
@nsijoroSin Tu Amor
@vicvine25Tera Mera Hai Pyar Amar by Ahmed Jahanzeb
@glorystar21Yo Te Voy A Amar by
@bee5Despacito by Luis Fonsi
@whitieTe Amo Tanto
@us-andrewTe Amo Tanto

These are the songs these contestants selected from a broad list of different songs. These were their choices as I didn't make that song choice for them.

How will 5 contestants get evicted?

Like I said, I'll reach out to all admins in different communities to help me access their chatting group where I'll drop the poll, or they can help me drop the link there for the voting to be done, and note, if you're Venezuelan, you can't vote on any Venezuelan contestant, and the poll results won't be visible to anyone except me. Nigerians can't vote on any Nigerian contestants. Why?

Nigerians are singing other songs. So Steemians in these countries are to judge if they sang well. Same with Nigerians since it's their song. They'll have to judge Venezuelans and Bangladeshis. The voting would be free and fair to prevent cheating.

How to participate?

Contestants will have to use the instrumental of the song they choose to sing the song and they have to be creative in their dressing and voice as this can help them pass this stage. They'll have to answer the questions below.

All participants must undergo training sessions with the host before submitting their performance

Questions you'll answer
  • Why did you choose the song you sang? Do you think it was a perfect choice of song for your voice?
  • How did you feel singing in another language? Tell us your experiences and challenges when trying to learn the song
  • What can you say about the Bilingual stage? What effect does this stage have on you?
  • Do you think you'll be evicted from the stage? What do you think can guarantee your survival in this stage?

Wow amigo me encantó tu canción en bengalí.

Ya llegamos a otra etapa. Más complicada que la anterior, pero necesaria para avanzar.

Bendiciones para todos los participantes.
