Hello, great Steemians. Happy New Year to you all. I'm super excited to write to you in this new year and to participate in this amazing contest organized by @hive-127426. Here is my entry.

Tell us about one song you've listened to this year that's the best to you. Tell us about the artist and nature of the song. (You can drop the lyrics.)

My best song of the year is titled "Oluwatosin" (Jesus is enough). This song has been on repeat for me since it dropped in 2025. It was ministered by two spirit-filled gospel ministers, TKeyz and Steve Hills, with their crews. TKeyz and SteveHills are rising artists known for heartfelt worship songs and spirit-filled praise. It's a powerful worship song that declares Jesus is enough, blending contemporary gospel with African worship sounds. The lyrics are soul-lifting, sung in English, Yoruba, and Igbo, making it a beautiful expression of faith and gratitude. This song has captured my spirit, and anytime I play this song, my spirit will lift, and whenever I am sad or down or feel lonely, I will play this song because this song is all I need to strengthen my life and my faith. This song makes me know that even if no one is by my side rooting for me, there is one person and one God that is always rooting for me, and his name is Jesus.

Do you like putting songs on repeat, or will you allow it to play everything in your album? Give reasons.

Normally I allow my music to play a full album so that I can explore my artist's flow and connect to the atmosphere of the song, except on some occasions where the songs are different, like in the case of "Oluwatosin"; that's when I will put it on repeat more often. The reason I put the song on repeat is because I love the song very much, and I like its vibes and spirit. Sometimes I feel like the song and I have a connection, or there is something more to the song in my life because when I play it, I feel different, and my mood brightens. The song actually makes me focus, especially when I'm working or doing house chores.

Mention 3 things you like about this song and a Steemian you think will enjoy this song if played to him or her

Three things I like about the song are

It is a gospel song, and I love gospel music a lot, especially the ones that blend languages together to give a good cultural vibe.

  • It is not just a gospel song, but it is spirit-filled, and I love songs that lift my spirit.

  • The melody of the song is catchy, and the way the soloist started and ended the song is amazing.

I think the Steemian that will enjoy this song if it is played to him will be @us-andrew because I've listened to some of his songs, and I can tell that he loves gospel songs.

Mention 3 effects of music in your life. Can you survive without music in 3 months? Give reasons.

3 effects of music in my life include:

  • Music uplifts me when I'm down; it lifts my spirit and gives me positive energy when I listen to it.

  • Music makes me feel relaxed even in the midst of storms and problems of life.

  • Music, especially gospel music, creates an atmosphere for me to connect in the spirit realm and communicate boldly with God.

And I don't think I can survive for 3 months without music because music is part of me, and it's what keeps me going. Sometimes music gives me confidence in my day-to-day activities and strengthens my faith as well, so I don't think even if I survive it I would be happy with myself for that period.

Thank you.

I invite @elijah247 @us-andrew @stevographix to participate in this contest.
