Recipe of the Day. (09/03/26)
Assalamu Alaikum, I begin my post today by wishing everyone good health. I am truly sorry that I have not been able to write posts lately due to physical illness and various busy schedules. Also, I can't go out due to busy schedule, so I thought I would discuss with you the foods I make at home and come up with a nice post. It would be really great if I could present my cooking skills to you. Anyway, I decided to share such wonderful food posts with you from now on and today I am here with my first post, Recipe of the Day.
Yesterday I prepared Biryani for my family for iftar. My kids love to eat biryani, but if it's chicken biryani, they'll happily eat it. Anyway, I started preparing the food since noon and made this wonderful chicken biryani ki with chopped chicken, polava rice and all the other spices which turned out to be very delicious. To be honest, when I am hungry, my children don't have any reservations about food and they eat it happily.
Along with the biryani, I made a salad for my family with cucumbers, tomatoes, carrots, etc. Salads are very nutritious and taste great. I always encourage my family to eat salads. But if I don't arrange the salad nicely and put it in front of them, they won't want to eat it, so I arranged it nicely and put it in front of them, and everyone ate many salads.
Earlier in the evening, my son Ian suddenly insisted on eating noodles and I was forced to make noodles for him as I had cooked biryani and I didn't feel like making noodles today. But for my son's sake, I was forced to make him noodles.
Here I cooked a curry of small fish. These are very nutritious foods and my family loves to eat such small fish curry. They all know that small fish are very beneficial for the eyes and that eating small fish curry is good for the body.
Then I cooked another curry of green beans and big fish for my family so that my family could eat it with satisfaction. I cooked this curry of small fish and chickpeas for Sehri. We try to avoid meat during Sehri because eating meat makes it difficult to fast all day. All in all, yesterday I cooked several curries for my family which were really nutritious.
