Halim's shop, Boro Deora Tongi.
Assalamu alaikum I had the opportunity to visit a Halim stall in Boro Deora, Tongi. This city is a significant spot for street food enthusiasts. Today, I am sharing a delightful review of this experience with my friends here on Steemit.
The stall’s setup is quite attractive and appealing. It operates from a beautifully decorated cart illuminated by colorful lights, which catch the eye from a distance in the night-time setting. The cart is positioned in a relatively quiet area, offering a peaceful atmosphere in which to enjoy the food.

The food is prepared and served in a very clean and tidy manner inside the car. The shopkeeper prepares each dish with great care. Crispy onion rolls and chops were being fried in a big pan in a sizzling mood. The soft sound of hot oil and the aroma of spices made the surrounding environment quite tempting. To maintain the quality of the food, he always keeps his hands and serving utensils clean.

I first tried their special Haleem. The smoky Haleem served in a bowl was truly amazing in taste. The thick gravy had a great combination of different pulses and spices. The use of chopped ginger and green chillies sprinkled on top of the fried meat pieces enhanced its taste several times. The taste of Haleem was so perfect that every spoonful tasted like Shahi.

Along with Haleem, their other fried items were equally appealing. The freshly fried onions and minced meat rolls on a hot tawa were quite crispy. Fresh cucumber and onion salad was served with the dishes. This cucumber salad gives a very refreshing feeling after oily dishes. The mild acidity of the salad enhances the main taste of the dish.
Overall, Haleem shop really deserves praise as a local street food. The price is affordable, the taste of the food and the quality of service are also excellent. Those of you who live or travel to the Bora Deora area of Tongi must definitely try this Haleem. I hope you all liked this review post of mine.
