Khatun Jannat Jame Mosque is located in Bara Deora, Tongi, Gazipur. It is built in a quiet and peaceful environment, slightly inside the main road. At the intersection of the main road of the mosque, there is a directional signboard and a beautiful donation box. The donation box, wrapped in white tiles, has the inscription Donate with open hands, which reminds the sincerity of the locals and their participation in the development of the mosque.

The building of the mosque is three-storeyed and looks quite elegant from the outside. The exterior is coated in light yellow and white colors. The upper part of the window has a beautiful arch-shaped design and Islamic decoration or calligraphy. The Islamic design and Arabic script on the grill windows give a great religious feel. There is an open and clean paved path in front of the entrance for the movement of worshipers.

Inside the mosque

A peaceful atmosphere can be felt as soon as you enter the interior of the mosque. The entrance and security entrance have sliding doors made of aluminum and glass and a collapsible gate. The doors are adorned with beautiful tiles with calligraphy of blessings and supplications. The floors and walls are completely covered with shiny white and black tiles. The walls are also tiled from the bottom to the top, which helps in maintaining cleanliness.

Mihrab and Pulpit The Mihrab section is decorated with an aesthetic decoration of blue and green lights. The pulpit is made of beautiful designs carved on wood, which maintains the traditional feel. Air conditioning and air curtain system So that the worshipers can worship comfortably in the scorching heat, air conditioners have been installed inside and modern air curtains have been installed at the entrance. Digital clock and schedule There is a beautiful large digital LED display board on the wall, where the five daily prayer times, Sehri and Iftar schedules are clearly visible. Along with this, the walls are adorned with pictures of the Holy Kaaba Sharif and the Prophet's Mosque.

There is a separate shelf and rack arrangement for the worshipers to keep their shoes right at the entrance to the mosque. The entire mosque premises are kept very dust-free and clean regularly.

When I reached there, I felt a sense of absolute peace. The peaceful atmosphere, the cool air-conditioned air, and the cleanliness all together, the experience of offering prayers here is truly commendable. The local people are very humble and hospitable. If you ever come to the Bora Deora area of Tongi, then definitely do not forget to spend some time at Khatun Jannat Jame Masjid and experience offering prayers.
