Today, I had a bad thought, I felt anxious, and I felt uneasy. When I got home from work last night, I already felt uneasy about this continuing, and why? Because I'm a child living away from home in the city. I felt uneasy because every morning I always asked permission to hitch a ride on a friend's motorbike whom I had just met.

Like what happened yesterday morning, the story was very sad for me. One of my new friends I met here, this friend also lives in the same rented house as me and works as an Alfamart employee. So the story goes like this? I always wake up every morning around 5:00 AM. And I'm ready for work in an hour. So, from my rented house I just have to go to work, which is quite a distance. So, I sometimes ask to ride on his motorbike (or often called riding pillion) to go to work. So the friend I just met, felt a bit uncomfortable or annoyed by my request to ask permission to ride on his motorbike to work.

So the friend said to me with words that made my heart very sad. The friend said to me like this? "I don't want to ride pillion and read you go to work, You don't disturb our friendship because I'm already riding pillion with another friend. If you want to go to work, buy a new motorbike like our people, said the friend. I swear my heart really hurts feeling the words of that friend🥹.

I truly regret asking permission to ride with that friend on the train. From yesterday until now, my heart has been broken and ashamed. The reason I asked to ride with my friend on the motorbike was because if I took a public minibus from my rented house to work, it would cost me around 25,000 rupiah, or about $5. Every time I go to work, I take public transportation. So, for a round trip, I have to have 50,000 rupiah, or about $10 Steem, per day.

If I calculate it, I spend about $100 Steem per month commuting to and from work. My monthly salary comes from working at Alfamart. I earn around $200 a month. And every month, I only get around 1,500,000 rupiah for public transportation to work, leaving me with around $150 or less. Just imagine.🥹

Can't afford to buy it. I'd like to ask the prices first.

This morning, I was looking for a safe decision and didn't want to risk my finances. This morning, before going to work, I visited the nearest motorcycle shop in Pekanbaru. I intentionally arrived late to work today to find the right and proper solution. I arrived at the motorcycle shop at 7:00 a.m. because I wanted to ask about the prices of cheap motorcycles.

I went into a motorcycle shop and met a woman who worked there. I asked her about the price. However, I didn't have much money, only about $65, or around 1,000,000 rupiah.

I have also wanted to have a motorbike for a long time, because I really need and like to have my own motorbike for me to go to work and use important things, especially now that I am a child of a migrant, so I really need my own motorbike to go home to my village. I swear, if I have my own motorbike, I will be very happy and really very happy because I have always wanted to have a motorbike, but I have not been able to buy it because I have no money.

Then, after I asked about the prices of motorbikes at the motorbike shop, the prices were 1,100$ - 1,450$ - 1,500$ - 1,800$ and so on. I'm really interested in motorbikes that are priced like those in my city. A Vario motorbike that costs around 1,100$ is already a very lucky price for me. Because the price for every motorbike throughout Indonesia remains the same if we buy it directly at a motorbike shop. Except for used motorbikes, the prices are not much different either.

After I inquired about the prices of the motorcycles, I found out the cheapest ones. Every payday, I have to save money to buy a motorcycle. I really don't have any money for one right now. I really hope to get my own motorcycle because I want to be independent and take care of important things using a motorcycle.

Then, I immediately rushed to work because it was already 9:00 a.m. I really hope that next month I can buy a motorbike, I will find a solution or ask for help from anyone little by little to get additional funds to buy a motorbike. Hopefully there are good people who can help me, because I don't want to waste money to go to work by public transportation.
