The Mountain In Moses Life(20/04/2026).

Mountain should not be a threat to our accomplishment, but should be tackled courageously with a purpose to overcome. In the book of Exodus 4:1,10,13,3:11.13, it lets us to know that all mountains should be handled with divine assistance. At the end there will be glorious outcome. The glowing victory supersedes the initial tears. We will examine this topic under the following sub-headings-

Description of mountain: Zechariah 4:7, Ezra 4: 1-3, 11-24, Matthew 17:19-20. Mark 11 22-24,1Corinthians13:2. Mountains, theologically speaking, means obstacles, problems which stands as hindrances to any course in any course, if they are not removed or cleared by any means, that assignment cannot be fulfilled. Moses in his time had many of them, which without divine intervention would have hindered rum from accomplishing divine purpose for his life in the above passages, the Bible used mountains as symbol of oppositions, unbelief and diverse problems. There were enormous mountains in Moses life.

The next subheading is discussion of the mountains. In Exodus 4 1,10, 13, 3:13, 5:22, 6:12,30, 17:4, Moses reaction to God was to list series of personal obstacles to fulfilling the divine mission such as lack of self confidence Exodus 3.13, inability to convey divine identity Exodus 3.13 , lack of convincing power. Exodus 4:1, He is not eloquent. Exodus 4 10, lacked conviction of being made eloquent, instead preferred physical assistance. Exodus 4:13-14, quick in losing patience and complained Exodus 5:22, fear of obtaining Pharaoh's audience as he could not for Israel, uncircumcised lips Exodus. 6:30, 4:10-12, fear of being stoned by Israel due to water scarcity Ex 17:4 , Moses displeasure with God when Israel complained of meat. Num. 11:10-11, making provision of flesh for one month Exodus 11:21. Israel had their own mountains too Numbers 11:1-2, 4:9 which they could not overcome and it brought destruction to them. Mountains can come as ill-health, poverty, opposition prayerlessness etc. Mountains can be spiritual, physical, social etc but in all solution is attainable.

The last subheading is dealing with the mountains; In Exodus 4.2, 17,29-31, God used Moses rod to be an instrument of miracles which he performed in Egypt. All the mountains in Moses life later became miracle points. This life is full of problems, but we need persistence, faith, faithfulness, force, fervency and fasting to scale through faith: Mark 9:23. Mark 11.22-24, faith is the ladder to level all mountains, faithfulness: Daniel 6 4-5, this gives protection to faith, force: Matthew 11-12. This is the inherent power that profess faithfulness, fervency, Zechariah. 4:7, Daniel 3: 10-18. There is need to see all mountains in your life leveled, don't leave any stone unturned and be determined to overcome, fervency compels you to pray. In Matthew 17:19-21, fasting cements all the qualities into one for accomplishing the desired goal.

In summary, respond positively to all life's mountains, present the mountains to God and expect response. Life's mountains are inevitable, borrow a leaf from Zerubbabel and confess that all mountains must be made plain (Zechariah 4:7), see mountains as examination that must be passed before getting over to the next class.
