Hello everybody!

Welcome to the 5th week of the Steemit Learning Challenge (Season 27). I’m energized to take part this week and investigate the astounding world of Physiotherapy. I’m grateful to the Steemit group and to @ashkhan for organizing such instructive challenges that offer assistance us learn and grow.

This week’s challenge centers on infection diagnosis and physiotherapy treatment conventions. Underneath is my support passage for this week.

Case Study: Frozen Shoulder (Adhesive Capsulitis)

PATIENT HISTORY

A 50-year-old office specialist displayed with continuous onset of shoulder firmness and torment for the last 4 months. The torment increments at night and limits the patient’s capacity to lift or pivot the arm. There is no history of recent harm.

SYMPTOMS

  • Shoulder pain that compounds at night or with movement

  • Stiffness and decreased run of movement (particularly when lifting the arm)

  • Difficulty doing every day assignments such as combing hair or wearing clothes

  • Muscle shortcoming due to neglect

CAUSES

  • Prolonged fixed status or post-injury stiffness

  • Diabetes or thyroid clutters (common related conditions)

  • Overuse or tedious strain

  • Poor pose or past shoulder surgery

DIAGNOSIS

  • Confirmed after physical evaluation: constrained dynamic and inactive run of movement in the shoulder joint.

  • Pain is more in snatching and outside rotation.

  • Special tests such as Apley’s Scratch Test appear confined movement.

Physiotherapy Treatment Protocol

The objective is to diminish pain, move forward shoulder portability, and reestablish function.

Stage 1: Pain Relief

  • Apply ice or warm treatment for 10–15 minutes twice daily.

  • Gentle pendulum exercises.

Stage 2: Extending and Mobility

  • Passive extending of the shoulder joint.

  • Wall climbing works out (walk fingers up a wall).

  • Towel extend: hold a towel behind the back and drag tenderly with the opposite hand.

Stage 3: Strengthening

  • Use resistance bands for outside and inside rotation.

  • Isometric works out to reinforce rotator sleeve muscles.

  • Shoulder shrugs and scapular withdrawal exercises.

After consistent sessions for 4–6 weeks, pain diminishes, and the run of movement progresses essentially.

Survey After Treatment

  • After performing the over convention every day for 2–3 weeks:

  • Pain diminishes from 7/10 to 3/10

  • Improved arm lifting and dressing ability

  • Better rest quality due to diminished night torment

Conclusion

Physiotherapy plays a crucial part in overseeing Frozen Shoulder, making a difference patients recapture work and certainty. Through normal extending and reinforcing, mobility can be completely reestablished without surgery.

Special appreciation to @ashkhan for this quick challenge.
I welcome my companions @justyy, @maxwell001 , and @fortwis09 to participate.
Let’s all learn together and spread information through physiotherapy!
