[SUMMARY] SLC28 Week6 - SteemitTTD - Old signals & Railway junctions
Hello everyone, and congratulations on finishing our introduction to this wonderful game.
In our previous lessons, we covered all the main elements of this wonderful game. And it’s a good thing that I left getting acquainted with trains for the last lessons. After all, cars, airplanes, and ships do not require—or require very little—the role of a dispatcher. The railway, however, is special in this game. The railway is for those who didn’t get enough of playing with toy trains in childhood 🙂 And for me, it’s also a logical game. From time to time, I try to improve my skills specifically in building a wide, large railway network.
Playing on servers, like any online game, can be exhausting—but there is a lot to learn from other players there and a chance to compare your strength and skills with others. Meanwhile, your own local 1-on-1 game can be played calmly: you can pause it, interrupt it, and return to the game when you have the opportunity.
In my posts, I will soon describe a few more games on the theme of steam locomotives 🙂 Perhaps in the spring, when stable electricity supply is restored, I will launch (turn on) the SteemitTTD Express server, with prizes awarded to the winners.
The sixth week fell at the end of the year, during preparations for the New Year holidays, and unfortunately few participants joined that week. I even did the last homework without a server and forgot to warn @luxalok )) And @joslud, I am sure, would have tested and explored the old signals very well—but it seems he went home for the holidays and didn’t have the time.
So overall, thank you to all of you who diligently completed the homework during these weeks.

🚂✈️ Let's Play OpenTTD 🚢🚁

Congratulations to the winners.
This week, I was dedicated to my family. I regret not participating. But I'm sure I continued exploring and learning more about OpenTTD.
I hope @sergeyk will propose some competition or contest in which fans of this game can participate through Steemit. We could create a reward fund and the winner could take it, or simply play for the fun of it.
It was an honor to participate in this excellent learning challenge. We'll keep reading and playing.

I might be able to run a server at home sometime in the spring, when there are no power outages, or when the periods of electricity supply become longer. On November 8, our power plants were heavily damaged once again. Now I have very little electricity: it’s available for 3–4 hours and then unavailable for 5–7 hours.
As for competition plans, I do have them—for example, weekly or monthly ones. Regarding rewards, yes: we can create a reward pool, and participants will write posts about their participation, with those posts being evaluated as well. If there are no clear winners, the reward will be added to the next competition.
Congratulations to the winners.
