This concludes the final report from True Colours for December 2025.

While signing in to Steemit could be burdensome at times, overall, we experienced a relaxing month.

For those fond of a bit of data:
We received over 115 personal comments from SC08 (excluding simple 'thank you for your support' acknowledgements). It is clear that not much is required to encourage our regular readers to comment, as they have done consistently over time.

Votes were distributed equally between male and female users. In terms of commenting activity, we observed no discernible difference between the genders. We can only note that, on average, the same cohort of individuals continue to comment month after month (or indeed, year after year)—regardless of login difficulties, whether they receive rewards, or even a reply.

We sought out European users and those who are often overlooked alongside more active bloggers. We found those who remain, including many who left longer ago, but also noted returning veteran Steemians and new arrivals.

The majority of those we upvoted demonstrated skill in writing, art (including painting, drawing, and cooking), photography, and a genuine interest in the world around them, other users, and the Steemit platform itself.

All upvotes were directed at Steemians in Club 100, Club 75, Club 50, or with no club status. None were in power-down at the time of voting.

The highest upvote value was 100%, and we awarded a significant number of these. This was not to accelerate reaching any target, but simply because the content was of good quality. Given that the average curator's own votes seldom represent the 'cherry on the pie', we felt a measure of justice was due.

In the Netherlands, it is customary to ring in the new year with concerts. I believe the piece of this author fits great to this event. Just one sentence was needed to trigger the thoughts of the author and made me wonder with him about the art of music and the art of writing about it.
