The room feels untouched by feeling, as if it learned restraint. Words arrive carefully and leave without weight. Nothing hurts enough to break the surface. Nothing cares enough to stay.

Memories line up without asking to be held.
The heart performs its duties in silence.
It does not protest, it does not celebrate.
