The Diary Game|| October 28, 2025|| "A Floody Situation Here In our Place"

Yesterday we experienced heavy rain here in the Province but it was very surprising because we did not expected that it will have heavy rain happens here because there was no news about the heavy rain expected here. It was Lunch Time when dark clouds appearing at the sky, thunder will heard and a swaying of leaves brought by winds already blows. As for unexpected bad weather situations, we hurriedly went to get those hang dry clothes outside of the house. It is better to get it while the rain was not yet precipitate so it can avoided of wet and aside of that, My Partner was also hurriedly went to the yard to picked lots of dry small branches of the trees to used as firewoods. The thunders also keep heard while the strong winds was also keep blowing those big and tall trees and we started to worried about it. Exactly 1 PM yesterday when the heavy rain started to poured and the surroundings was started to have foggy place brought by heavy rains. Every "Ber" Months, rainy season is already expected but we cannot predict when it will happen. As for that, our work outside the house cannot be done instead we decided to stay inside the house doing nothings but watching outside. I felt bored yesterday and I cannot visit my Garden because of the heavy rain happens here. My Partner was also keep monitoring the River to see if the water was already rising because of the flood.

Delicious Boiled Banana:

As we kept waiting for the rain to stopped, I also remembered some bananas I kept last day. I decided to boiled it so we can have snacks in the midst of the heavy rain and I hurriedly went to the kitchen so I can start boiling it. Good thing we have lots of dry branches of the trees that used as firewoods stored inside of the kitchen and I can easily boiled or cooked the food for our meals without getting outside of the house. It takes almost an hour of boiling bananas and after that I pelled it and put in the plate. It will be very nice to have snacks in rainy situations specially when there is a hot coffee.

Watching Movie:

While eating boiled bananas we also enjoyed ourselves by watching movies. My Daughter wants to watch fairytale movies that Is why I decided to played it on DVD. To kept myself of not getting bored I also watched the movie along with my Daughter. I did not recognized that it was already 3 PM because of the dark clouds appearing at the sky. The lawn was already filled with water because of the heavy rain but that situations is also very important so our plants will keep survived and lots of water it can be sip.

Doing Arts is Also a Kind of Wonderful Indoor Activities:

My brother-in-law was also felt bored and in order to keep away from boredoom situations, He decided to make an arts in fact He really loves arts and I was very amazed by seeing him draw a picture. He was very expert of making arts with the used of sign pen. Well for me, making arts is one of the best indoor activities specially when there is a heavy rain. It was nearly 4 in the afternoon when suddenly the river was getting noisy because of the splashing of water.

Big Flood Strikes:

After a few hours of heavy rain, the river was already flooded washing all big branches of the trees and also washed away those few trash like plastics and twigs. We felt worried that time because of this big trunk of the tree and its roots washed away by flood and ended here. It was stocked at the middle of the river creating a strong water current of water. It will resulting to the cliff to eroded and collapsed because of the water. Big bunches of bamboo trees started to collapsing from the other side of the cliff and washed away. We kept monitoring the flood to see if it will over-flowed while my Mother-in-law also preparing the things we brought just like important documents, clothes and foods everytime when we evacuated the place. I also checked those water hose attaching to the other side of the place if it will reach by flood but luckily it wont reach.

After the Flood:

This morning we decided to check the river to see what are the areas was totally destroyed and collapsed during the flood. We also went to the place where the tree trunk was stocked during the flood. I was very amazed of the big tree and the roots stocked at the middle of the river. Lots of twigs, small roots and covered with mud can be seen and the shallow areas brought by strong water current that time.

Big chunks of soil was collapsed and washed out by flood and coconut trees are also washed away from the river. I felt very sad about the situations here particularly the place where keep collapsing. But this is very normal for us here, the only best way we have to do is to keep ourselves safe always. Until next post, have a nice day to everyone.
