Bireuen Government Commemorates Pancasila Day.

Hundreds of enthusiastic participants attended the Pancasila Day commemoration ceremony, which proceeded smoothly and solemnly, led by Bireuen Regent, H. Mukhlis, ST, in the courtyard of the Regent's Hall on Monday morning (June 1, 2026).

The annual event was also attended by the Deputy Regent, Ir. H. Razuardi, MT, members of the Regional Leadership Communication Forum (Forkopimda), heads of departments, agencies, offices, sub-district heads, civil servants (PNS) from various agencies and organizations, university students, elementary and junior high school students, and scouts.

The ceremony officials included the Regent of Bireuen, H. Mukhlis, ST, the ceremony inspector; Captain Arh. M. Agus Apriansyah, Danramil 04 Peudada; and the ceremony commander; Captain Kav. Imron Suryadani, Danramil 06 Peusangan.

The Regent of Bireuen, H. Mukhlis, ST, also read the Pancasila text. The 1945 Constitution was read by Abi Maulana, SSTP., M.H. from the Regional Secretariat's Leadership Coordination Program (Prokopim), and the Mahdi prayer was read by SPd.I from the Bireuen Ministry of Religious Affairs Office.

Obade presented students from SMAN 1 Bireuen and the flag-raising officers from the retired Paskibra (Indonesian Flag Raising Team): Rizki, Fawaz Firjatullah, and Aqil Shodiq Al-Mufiq.

In his remarks, the Regent of Bireuen, H. Mukhlis, read a written speech by the Head of the Pancasila Ideology Development Agency (BPIP) of the Republic of Indonesia, Yudian Wahyudi.

"Today, June 1, 2026, we once again stand on our heritage to commemorate Pancasila Day. More than just an annual ceremony, today is a moment of reflection to ensure that the flame of Pancasila continues to burn in the souls of every Indonesian," he said.

The theme for the 2026 Pancasila Birthday commemoration is "Pancasila, the Uniter of the Nation, the Foundation of World Peace." This affirms that the noble values ​​of Pancasila are not only relevant for maintaining the integrity of the Indonesian nation but also provide the answer to creating lasting world peace, he concluded.
