Putri Bidadari Aceh General Hospital, a Symbol of Collaboration and Independence in the Healthcare Sector
The Wali Nanggroe Aceh, His Excellency Tgk. Malik Mahmud Al-Haythar, inaugurated the Putri Bidadari General Hospital (RSU) in Aceh, a modern private healthcare facility expected to become a center of excellence for medical services in the Land of Rencong.
The inauguration ceremony took place in Banda Aceh on Thursday, October 23, 2025, and was attended by several important figures, including H. Muhammad Nur Abubakar, the hospital's leader and main investor; Firmansyah, the President Director; members of the Regional Leadership Communication Forum (Forkopimda), Dr. Muhammad M. Raviq, the head of the Wali Nanggroe's Special Staff, the head of the BPJS Kesehatan (Social Security Agency for Health), as well as religious scholars, academics, and medical personnel.
In his remarks, the Wali Nanggroe emphasized that the construction of the hospital is part of the spirit of "meubangun Aceh sigom donya" (building Aceh with its own strength and resources).
"This hospital is not just a physical building, but a symbol of noble collaboration between Acehnese businessmen, professionals, and the moral support of traditional institutions and the Aceh Government," said Wali Nanggroe, as reported by Zulfikar Idris, Head of Cooperation and Public Relations of Wali Nanggroe.
RSU Putri Bidadari Aceh offers various high-standard facilities, such as a Cathlab (Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory), CT Scan Angiography, MRI, EMG, EEG, ICU and NICU, Pathology Laboratory, Adult and Pediatric Endoscopy, as well as modern PONEK and physiotherapy services.
Equipped with national and international standard medical equipment, this hospital is targeted to become a major healthcare referral center in Aceh and western Indonesia.
Wali Nanggroe described the establishment of RSU Putri Bidadari as a humanitarian investment that grew out of the social sensitivity and concern of Acehnese businessmen for the welfare of the people.
"Investment in Aceh is not only about energy or infrastructure. More than that, we want to encourage investment that directly addresses the needs of the people—namely, health and humanity," Wali Nanggroe emphasized.
On that occasion, the Wali Nanggroe also delivered three important messages. First, the Aceh Government was asked to provide full support for hospital development through regulations and integrated service systems. Second, the BPJS Kesehatan (Social Security Agency for Health) and insurance institutions were expected to establish partnerships to ensure services remain affordable for the public.
Third, medical and nursing educational institutions were encouraged to make this hospital a place for practice, research, and community service for young Acehnese medical personnel.
The Wali Nanggroe concluded his remarks by emphasizing the importance of health as the primary foundation of Aceh's human development.
"Without healthy people, development will be meaningless. Let's use this hospital as a momentum to strengthen our commitment to building Aceh with heart, mind, and noble human values," he said.
The inauguration was marked by the signing of a plaque and a collective prayer. The Wali Nanggroe considered the inauguration of the Putri Bidadari Aceh Hospital to be a new milestone in Aceh's journey towards independence in the health sector.[]

That good initiatives and Projects really helps to all residents. It also really shows the proggresive community and unity to all sector. Congratulations everyone.
In Indonesia, the number of adequate hospitals is still severely lacking. Furthermore, the service remains poor. It's no surprise that many Indonesian citizens seek treatment at hospitals abroad.
Thank so much @aehryanglee.
🎉 Congratulations!
