Bireuen Government Distributes Emergency Relief Aid to Fire Victims in Ranto Panyang.
The Bireuen Regency Government, Aceh Province, distributed emergency relief aid to victims of the fire that occurred in Ranto Panyang Village, Juli District.
The aid was distributed through the Social Services Agency and the Bireuen Regional Disaster Management Agency on Monday afternoon, November 10, 2025. The aid provided included food, clothing, and other necessities.
The aid was handed over directly to Hamzah, whose house was destroyed by fire on Monday afternoon, November 10, 2025. Also present were the Head of Juli District, Hendry Maulana SIP MSM, accompanied by the Keuchik of Rantau Panyang, Zahri AR.
This aid demonstrates the Bireuen Regency Government's concern for the fire victims.
Meanwhile, the Village Head of Rantau Panjang, Zahri AR, stated that Hamzah is one of his residents classified as poor, working daily on someone else's oil palm plantation, and his son also works for their daily needs.
Regarding the disaster experienced by his residents, he immediately reported it officially to the sub-district head, the Bireuen government, and the Regency Baitul Mal (Baitul Mal), as they lost their homes.
Meanwhile, the Head of Juli Sub-district, Hendry Maulana SIP MSM, at the location, stated that the sub-district expressed condolences for the disaster experienced by one of the Rantau Panyang residents. He said the sub-district had forwarded information about the fire to the Bireuen Regent, the Social Service, and the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD).
The sub-district head added that, according to the procedure, he would forward the information to the Bireuen BMK through the Bireuen Regent and hoped for assistance and would coordinate with the village government.
"Panic assistance can be distributed directly. Regarding housing assistance, there is a mechanism and coordination with the technical services," he said.
As previously reported, a fire occurred in Bireuen Regency, Aceh Province, destroying a house and its contents on Monday, November 10, 2025.
The burned house belonged to Hamzah (40), a resident of Ranto Panyang Village, Juli District, Bireuen. The fire occurred at approximately 2:15 PM WIB.
This disaster has left seven people homeless, and they are temporarily living in emergency tents.
