Bireuen Regency Government Holds 2027 Work Plan Development Planning Meeting.

The Bireuen Regency Government (Pemkab) held a 2027 Work Plan Development Planning Meeting (Musrenbang RKPK) for the 2027 Work Program on Thursday (April 9, 2026).

The event took place in the Fajar Hotel Hall and was opened by the Deputy Regent of Bireuen, Ir. H. Razuardi, MT.

The event was attended by the Head of the Aceh Regional Development Planning Agency (Bappeda), Dr. Ir. Zulkifli, MSi, Forkopimda officials, heads of the Regional Government Work Units (SKPK), sub-district heads, and 230 participants from various community groups.

The Musrenbang agenda included a presentation of the initial direction of the 2027 RKPK by the Bireuen Bappeda, a presentation of Aceh's 2027 development policies by the Aceh Bappeda, and a discussion and question-and-answer session.

In his remarks, Deputy Regent Razuardi emphasized the importance of a shared commitment to ensure that every rupiah of the budget is truly directed towards the benefit of the community, especially those in need of greater attention.

He also urged all regional officials to increase synergy and not work in isolation.

"Good planning is integrated, mutually supportive planning, with the same goal of building Bireuen Regency to be prosperous, intelligent, peaceful, and Islamic," he said.

The Head of the Bireuen Regional Development Planning Agency (Bappeda), Dailami, SHut, emphasized that the Musrenbang (Regional Development Planning Forum) is a crucial stage in the participatory, transparent, and accountable regional development planning process.

This forum serves as a platform for aligning community aspirations with regional development priorities.

The Chairman of the Bireuen Regional People's Representative Council (DPRK), Juniadi, SH, hopes that the Musrenbang can become a means of real collaboration between the executive, legislative, and community, resulting in targeted development programs that have a direct impact on the welfare of residents.

The forum also presented development achievements for 2025, including:

Economic growth reached 3.26 percent, higher than the Aceh average. The poverty rate decreased to 10.3%, a decrease of 1.8%. Open unemployment was recorded at 3.82%, lower than the provincial and national averages. The Human Development Index (HDI) was at 76.25, above the Aceh and national averages.

Generally, Bireuen's development is considered to be on a positive track, although it still faces challenges in equitable distribution of prosperity and improving the quality of economic growth.

The 2027 Regional Development Planning (RKPK) Musrenbang is expected to produce solution-oriented, targeted programs oriented toward community protection and accelerating regional recovery.

The event then continued with panel presentations by the Bireuen Regional Development Planning Agency (Bappeda) and the Aceh Regional Development Planning Agency (Bappeda), which emphasized the direction of future development policies.

With broad participation and shared commitment, this Musrenbang is expected to form a strong foundation for Bireuen's development in 2027.
