Several agencies, schools, and integrated health posts (Posyandu) won awards in the Regional Innovation Competition Award Ceremony held by the Regional Development Planning Agency (Bappeda) and opened by Regent H. Mukhlis, ST, represented by Acting Regional Secretary Hanafiah, SP., CGCAE., FRMP, on Wednesday afternoon (December 17, 2025) at the Regional Secretariat Office.
The Head of the Bireuen Bappeda, Dailami, SHut., MLing, stated that the purpose of this event was to fulfill the mandate of the law. It served as a forum for fostering camaraderie to improve regional performance, fostering and fostering a spirit of innovation among innovators, and providing appreciation and recognition to the winners.
"The presentation of awards at this award ceremony will encourage and strengthen the commitment of the Regional Innovation and Competitiveness Units (SKPK) to innovation, thereby further enhancing the Regional Innovation Index and Regional Competitiveness Index of Bireuen Regency.
With collaboration and participation from all parties, we will be able to further improve development implementation to improve community welfare," he explained.
Meanwhile, the Regent of Bireuen, H. Mukhlis, represented by the Acting Regional Secretary, Hanafiah, SP., CGCAE., FRMP, in his remarks, stated that this activity was a form of appreciation for the regional innovation competition participants selected for the 2025 regional innovation competition.
After going through the selection process for the Innovative Government Award (IGA) application by the Ministry of Home Affairs' Domestic Policy Strategy Agency, the event has become an annual event, requiring at least one innovation from each regional apparatus each year, as mandated by Article 12, paragraph 3 of Bireuen Regent Regulation Number 42 of 2021.
Although this year's event was held in a simplified manner, in keeping with the current natural disaster situation, the hope is that the innovation assessment will lead to the receipt of fiscal incentive funds through improved regional performance, community benefits, and increased regional competitiveness.

Congratulations to the selected and successful innovators. This will be a very meaningful regional government innovation in assessing regional performance," concluded the Acting Regional Secretary.
According to the announcement received by the committee, several winning categories in the regional innovation competition were as follows:
In the Governance Innovation category, first place went to the Education and Culture Office with the Jambo SP (Education Unit Operational Management Application Network) innovation.
Second place went to SMP Sukma Bireuen with the Sibijak (Digital-Based, Honest, Safe, and Credible Examination System) innovation. Third place went to the Public Works and Spatial Planning Office with the Sigap PUPR (PUPR Ready and Responsive) innovation.
Public Service Innovation: First place went to the UPTD SD Negeri 1 Peusangan with the Healthy and Nutritional Program innovation. Second place went to RSUD Dr. Fauziah Bireuen with the Ubat (Medicine Intat Service) innovation. Third place: Kota Juang District, Permata Hati Integrated Health Post (Posyandu) Pulo Ara Village, Bireuen, innovation: Gemari (Nutritious Food Cooking Movement).
In the Other Regional Authority Innovation category, first place: Bireuen Public Elementary School 7's Technical Implementation Unit (UPTD SD Negeri 7) innovation: Jejak Cinta (Smart, Innovative, Nationalist, Responsible, and Religious). Second place: Peudada Public Middle School 1's Technical Implementation Unit (UPTD SMP Negeri 1) innovation: Caca (Creating an Anthology of Children's Short Stories). Third place: Kuala Public Middle School 1's Technical Implementation Unit (UPTD SMP Negeri 1) innovation: Disposisi KL (Positive Discipline Using Logical Consequences Based on a Point System).
The favorite winner for Public Service Innovation was the Population and Civil Registration Office (Disdukcapil) innovation: Lako Duk Saja (Ready-to-Use Population Administration Consultation Service).
The committee also recognized the Bireuen Regional Secretariat's Organizational Division with its innovation: Fara Resiber (Facilitation and Assistant for Sustainable Bureaucratic Reform Action Plans).
The Public Housing and Settlement Areas Service with the innovation of the New APP Ni (Application for Data Collection of Habitable House Buildings).
