Activities of the 22nd Day of Ramadan
Hello, good night to all my Steemian friends. How are you today? I hope you are all in good health and always under the protection of Allah SWT, allowing you to carry out all your activities well. Alhamdulillah, I am back to share my daily activities on this happy day.
I woke up on Thursday morning, a special day for Muslims, around five o'clock. I got up to perform one of the highly recommended acts of worship during Ramadan: eating sahur. After enjoying a simple sahur meal prepared by Raffa's mother, not long after, an announcement was heard from the loudspeaker of the Babul Huda Mosque that imsak had arrived. We are accustomed to eating sahur late in the morning, as recommended by the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). Then I finished my sahur by brushing my teeth and drinking a glass of warm water.
While waiting for the time for dawn prayer, I took the time to recite some verses from the Quran. About ten minutes later, the call to prayer (adhan) sounded, signaling the arrival of dawn prayer. I took a moment to perform the sunnah prayer at home. When I heard the sound of the iqamah, I went out of the yard of my beloved house to the Babul Huda Panggoi Mosque. At dawn, I take advantage of the congregation's time to do iktiqaf while reciting dhikr. Next I went home while doing light exercise by walking. I read several verses of the holy Al-Qur'an this morning at home before doing other activities.
After reciting the Quran for a while, I lay back down with Raffa, who was still asleep. A few moments later, my child woke up, and I made him milk. Thank God, it was Thursday morning, the 22nd day of Ramadan, and the weather was very sunny. This Thursday, I didn't have a teaching schedule for the Dinul Islam program, so I had plenty of free time. At 8 a.m., I left the house to take my child to the daycare center, which wasn't far from where I was assigned. After dropping him off, I headed to school, even though there wasn't a teaching schedule. I was able to complete various other tasks that were already my responsibility.
As noon approached, I left the schoolyard and stopped to pick up Raffa from the daycare center. From then on, until the afternoon, I just spent time at home playing with Raffa. Waiting for the time to break the fast, I went out to buy dinner. In the evening, as usual, I performed the Isha prayer and continued with the Tarawih prayer until it was finished. The virtue of the Tarawih prayer on the 22nd night is "to receive a guarantee of safety from Allah SWT from all kinds of hardship, confusion, and fear of the Day of Judgment. Tonight is a special moment at the end of Ramadan to seek protection and serenity."
