Sadriah Inaugurated as Mother Teacher of the Indonesian Teachers Association (PGRI) Bireuen
The wife of the Regent of Bireuen Regency, Sadriah, SKM., MKM, officially assumed the position of Mother Teacher of the Indonesian Teachers Association (PGRI) local organization. She was inaugurated by the Chairman of PGRI Aceh, Almunzir, SPd.I., M.Si., represented by the Deputy Chairman of PGRI Aceh, on Thursday morning (January 29, 2026) in the Old District Secretariat Hall.
The event took place during the inauguration of the PGRI Bireuen management, Mother Teachers, PGRI Women's Management, and SIGAP PGRI Bireuen Regency for the 2025-2030 term.
The daily management of the Bireuen PGRI (Indonesian Teachers Association) was inaugurated, including Chairperson Zia Ulhaq, SPd; Deputy Chairperson Zulfadhli, SPd; Deputy Chairperson Drs. Fadhli, MM; Deputy Chairperson Fauzan, SPd., MPd; Secretary Iskandar, SPd., MM; Deputy Secretary Azhar, SPd., MM; Treasurer Novera Kusumawati Putri, MAg; Deputy Treasurer Ennawita, SPd; and other administrators in various positions.
The Chairperson of the Bireuen Regency PGRI, Zia Ulhaq, SPd, expressed her hope that all newly inaugurated PGRI administrators would continue to actively collaborate in advancing education in Bireuen Regency and improving its quality in the future.
Furthermore, Sadriah, as the Mother of Teachers, expressed similar hopes. She hoped that in addition to improving education, teachers would also be able to educate children to develop Islamic character, high integrity, and competitive human resources.
In his address, Bakhtiar, Deputy Chair of the Aceh Province PGRI, stated that the newly inaugurated Bireuen PGRI management are young people and are clearly eager to advance education in Bireuen Regency.
"We will see the performance of this PGRI management. As we pledged earlier, after three months of inactivity, we are ready to resign. I hope all management can collaborate to jointly advance education in Bireuen," Bakhtiar said.
Meanwhile, the Regent of Bireuen, H. Mukhlis, ST, represented by Assistant I to the Regional Secretariat, Mulyadi, SH., MM, told those who had just taken their oath of office to remember that the legitimacy of this organization lies in the extent to which its benefits are felt by its members, even in remote sub-districts.

In particular, I would like to express my deepest appreciation to the Mother Teachers of Bireuen Regency. "We all recognize that the foundation of this nation's character is not laid in university, but rather in the gentle hands and sincerity of Mother Teachers who guide our children in their golden years," he said.
In Bireuen Regency, the role of Mother Teachers is a key pillar in producing a generation that is not only intellectually intelligent, but also emotionally and spiritually well-mannered, in accordance with the Islamic values we uphold.
"I hope Mother Teachers continue to maintain the spirit of educating from the heart, because amidst the rapid flow of digitalization, the touch of love and example of a mother can never be replaced by machines or technology, no matter how sophisticated," concluded Assistant I Mulyadi.
