SDN 2 Jeumpa Bireuen Fire, Firefighters Extinguish.

The office of the Head of Administration (KTU) and the teachers' council of Jeumpa Public Elementary School (SDN) 2, located in Blang Bladeh Village, Jeumpa District, Bireuen Regency, Aceh Province, caught fire at approximately 7:00 a.m. Western Indonesian Time.

The cause of the fire is still unknown, and there were no casualties. The fire destroyed five chairs, student gym uniforms, and other items.

According to reports, the fire, which occurred that morning, was first discovered by a school guard named Husna Safrina. Seeing thick smoke in one of the rooms, she immediately contacted the principal, who lives nearby.

The principal of SDN 2 Jeumpa, Rusli, SPd, immediately contacted the Bireuen Regency fire department, who rushed to the school to assess the situation and assist the local community in extinguishing the fire.

Shortly afterward, two fire trucks from the Bireuen Main Post arrived at the scene to respond. The firefighters quickly, swiftly, and resiliently extinguished the blaze. The firefighters' efforts were successful, preventing the fire from spreading to other rooms.

Meanwhile, Afrizal, Commander of Fire Brigade Squad A at the Bireuen Main Post, stated that upon receiving the information, his team immediately rushed to the scene to extinguish the fire.

"The cause of the fire is still unknown. People suddenly saw the fire and immediately called the fire station, and we rushed to the scene," he said.

The principal of SDN 2 Jeumpa, Rusli SPd, told several media crews that the fire broke out in one of the teachers' council rooms. The room also housed various school materials, some of which were burned.

"The teachers' council room was completely destroyed, and one piece of electronic equipment on the wall and its cables were burned," he said.
