Dead Moth - Macro Photography

A couple of years ago, while in the farm observing my maize plants, I found this creature perching on a leaf. It is a shot of a headless moth perching on a green leaf with one of its wings cut off and and resting besides it. Some of its legs were not intact as well.

It was an unusual scene as I thought that was how it was or perhaps the head is hidden. But when I looked closely, it was otherwise. I think a predator had captured it, removed the head while leaving the body.

Such a fantastic creature that nature offers to us to please our eyes and beautify our world.
