In The Market

He was in the market. A sudden realization came to his mind. Why did I enter, he thought. Is there something that I am looking for here? He went between items to find his way out. He asked someone who was shopping and told him, it's in the other aisle.

He went directly to the other aisle, to find more food items. He kept seeing almost the same items. After few rounds in the same market, he realized that it was designed as a loop. He kept walking a round, but not really exiting it. The end!

He closed the short story book, and said goodnight to his daughter. As soon as he moves, he kept thinking of that story. Thinking of what ifs, and stopped at, what if this was an image taken from reality? Don't we walk around in the same patterns, trying to find something that was not there at the first time. A magical moment maybe. Telling ourselves that we have to make a change. But, do not really follow through to make that change. As if fear was holding us back, and we are not used to not be close to it.
