Acts of Kindness || A Friendly Meeting with the Head of the Dayah
Dear friends, admins, and all moderators of this beloved community. May we always be under His protection!
A friendly gathering with the Dayah leadership is a gathering event to build togetherness and intimacy. This gathering is often held during the acceptance of new students or special events. The Dayah leadership provides important guidance regarding education, morals, and the current vision and mission of the Dayah. They also listen to input from students and guardians for mutual progress, emphasizing education based on compassion and noble morals.
The purpose of this friendly gathering is simply to strengthen the relationship between the leadership, students, guardians, community leaders, and alumni to foster good and harmonious relationships.
Apart from that, another aim of the friendly meeting with the Dayah Leaders is to hear aspirations, open space for criticism, suggestions and complaints from students and guardians of students as well as from the implementers of the Dayah Education.
Some time ago, I was invited to a friendly gathering with the Dayah leadership at our village mosque. Although we only sat down to discuss a few key points for the continuity of the Dayah education process within the Dayah cooperative area, it certainly made us, along with some of the guests, very happy. We could enjoy drinks while discussing issues.
During this friendly gathering, the Dayah leadership at our mosque addressed several points that weren't focused solely on finding solutions, but rather on simply exchanging ideas, in keeping with the relatively short meeting schedule. This friendly gathering emphasized the importance of emotional management in education. It highlights how the Dayah feels about caring for and educating our children and those of our relatives. This feeling should be shared.
Furthermore, this brief gathering should also be an appropriate opportunity for parents and community leaders to express their gratitude to the Islamic boarding school (Dayah) for devoting their time, energy, and thought to the advancement of Islamic boarding school education in their area.
