Writing || Sya'ban Month of Preparation
Dear friends, admins, and all moderators of our beloved community. May we always be under His protection!
We are currently living in the month of Sha'ban. Today, Sunday, February 1, 2026, we have entered the 13th day of Sha'ban. Tomorrow night, we will likely enter the 15th night of Sha'ban, a night we all know is when all the records or books of deeds are replaced with new ones.
The month of Sha'ban is our final month of preparation for the even more glorious month of Ramadan. In fact, this month of Sha'ban is the final stage for us to prepare ourselves as best as possible to welcome the holy month of Ramadan that follows.
We all know and have often heard that the month of Sha'ban is the month of the prophet. This month serves as a warm-up for us to improve the quality of our worship, and even serves as the final stage of practice for the upcoming fasting month of Ramadan.
The night of glory in the month of Sha'ban is of course the 15th night, which is often called the night of nisfu Sya'ban. On that night, Allah SWT bestowed His mercy and forgiveness, and it was the time when the command to give prayers to the Prophet Muhammad SAW was revealed, making it a month full of blessings to increase sunnah fasting, prayer and alms.
As the name suggests, the month of Sha'ban is the month of the prophet. This month we are encouraged to increase our prayers to our Prophet Muhammad in addition to carrying out other acts of worship. However, increasing prayers is highly recommended in this great month.
The month of Sha'ban is a month of preparation, for us to move towards and move on to the next month, namely the holy month of Ramadan.
Let's equip ourselves with solid religious knowledge, we should train and prepare ourselves as best as possible in this month of Sha'ban, so that we can welcome a very great month which multiplies our acts of worship, namely the holy month of Ramadan.
