SLC30-W1 | “Potato Magic Challenge”: Potato Snack / Potato Chop

Assalamu Alaikum, I hope everyone is well and enjoying their lives. Today is the first week of Season 30, and this week we will first participate in the Potato Magic Challenge, in which we will make potato snacks that every Muslim loves very much during Ramadan. So without wasting any time, let's move on to our main task.

First of all, we will prepare this recipe and talk about the ingredients used in this recipe. All those ingredients and their quantity are listed below.

Step 01

Now let's move on to the main process. The first step is to boil the potatoes we have taken. After boiling, we have to peel them. After peeling, we have to mash them well so that we can make them very fine.

Step 02

As we have already mentioned in the ingredients, all the spices that are to be used in it contain hot spices, salt, red chili, turmeric, and also dried coriander. We have to mix all these things, or we have to put them separately on top of the mashed potatoes. After adding all these spices, mix them well.

Step 03

Our next step is to take the onion and green coriander, chop both of them into small pieces. First, we will add an onion to it. After adding the onion, we will add chopped coriander. After adding both of these things, we have to mix them well.

Step 04

We also have to add two spoons of mustard oil to the same mashed potatoes so that they can be combined. After adding the mustard oil, we have to mix it well. As a result, we will have these mashed potatoes ready.

Step 05

Our next step is that we first have to take the gram flour and put it in any bowl. After putting it in the bowl, we have to add a little salt, a little red chili, a little turmeric, and similarly, we have to add baking powder and a little corn flour. After adding all these things, we have to mix a little water into it. After mixing the water, we have to shake it well, so that we will have a paste ready.

Step 06

We have made round pieces of the potato mash that we had prepared using any machine, or you can make them yourself with your hands. After making them, you have to dip these pieces in the paste. After dipping, we have to take a pan and add oil to it. After adding oil, when it gets hot, we have to put the dipped pieces in the oil.

Write your username and date on a piece of paper. And present the recipe beautifully.

So now we have to cook it properly first. When it is fried properly, we finally have these potato pieces, which we can also call mashed potatoes. They have come ready in front of us, and I have saved them with my username. I have written the date as March 1st because I had prepared the recipe yesterday.
