Steem Heights Log — A Strong Start to the New Season
Steem Heights Log — A Strong Start to the New Season
A brand-new season of Steem Heights has begun, and I couldn't wait to start climbing again.
Steem Heights is one of those games that always keeps me coming back.
The gameplay looks simple at first, but the higher you climb, the more intense it becomes.
The platforms become smaller, the wind grows stronger, and every placement feels more important than the last.
One small mistake can end an otherwise perfect run.
My first attempt was mostly a warm-up.
First Run
- Total Altitude: 57m
- Combos: 7
- Bonus: +14m
Not a bad start, but I knew I could do better.
On my second run, I found a much better rhythm and started building combo bonuses more consistently.
Second Run
- Total Altitude: 88m
- Combos: 12
- Bonus: +24m
The extra bonus altitude made a huge difference, and I could already feel myself climbing the leaderboard.
For my third run, everything came together.
The combo meter kept growing, and I was able to maintain a steady pace without taking too many unnecessary risks.
Sometimes it's tempting to chase every possible combo bonus, but when the platforms become extremely small, one mistake can cost the entire run.
I decided to focus on consistency rather than gambling for a few extra meters.
That decision paid off.
Third Run
- Total Altitude: 93m
- Combos: 12
- Bonus: +24m
Crossing the 90-meter mark felt great, especially this early in the season.
After finishing my runs, I checked the leaderboard.
Current Leaderboard
1st — @theexplorerguy
- 125m
- 19 Combo
2nd — me @iamheretoo
- 93m
- 12 Combo
3rd — @faisalamin
- 80m
- 9 Combo
Seeing my name in second place felt fantastic.
Of course, the season has only just started, and the rankings can change at any time.
Right now, I'm sitting at 93m, while @theexplorerguy leads with 125m.
That means I'm only 32m behind first place.
In Steem Heights, one great run can completely change the leaderboard, so the gap is definitely within reach.
A few more combo chains and a cleaner run could be enough to take the top spot.
I also completed my daily challenges, which means more rewards and more progress toward unlocking additional skins.
Overall, it was a very successful start to the season.
For now, I'm happy to be holding second place, but my goal is obvious.
The climb isn't over yet, and I'm coming for first place.

Congratulations!
