SLC30-W2 | “Potato Magic Challenge” : Potato Curry – Alur Torkari
I am inviting all my Steemit friends to the second week of the “Potato Magic Challenge” competition of Steemit Challenge Season 30. In the second week of the competition, we will be making Potato Curry/ Alur Torkari Today I will share my entry in this awesome competition.

Ingredients
I have listed the ingredients required for the Potato Curry below.

Making Process
Step 1:
For the potato curry recipe, I peeled four medium-sized potatoes. Then, for quick cooking, I cut the potatoes into similar-sized pieces and washed them in clean water.

Step 2:
I put a pan on the stove, heated mustard oil in the pan, added dried chilies and a spoonful of black cumin seeds and fried them for a while. When the dried chilies were fried and fragrant, I poured the washed and cleaned potato pieces into the pan. Then I mixed them with the dried chilies and black cumin seeds, stirred them, and fried them for a while longer.

Step 3:
After frying the potato pieces for a while, I added salt to taste and a spoonful of turmeric powder, stirred well, and fried them for a while longer. Then I poured the fried potato pieces into a separate bowl and kept them aside.

Step 4:
I added the chopped onion and green chillies to the extra oil in the pan, added the ginger paste and fried it with the chopped onion and green chillies until the raw smell of ginger was gone. When the raw smell of ginger was gone, I added the chopped tomato, chilli powder, turmeric powder and mixed everything together.

Step 5:
I added half a cup of water to the spices in the pan, then stirred everything and ground it. When all the spices were ground well and oil floated on top of the spices, I mixed the pre-fried potato pieces into the spice gravy and stirred it well. When it was mixed, I added a cup of water to cook the potatoes well.

Step 6:
After cooking for ten minutes, when the potato pieces were well cooked, I sprinkled chopped coriander leaves on top. After adding the chopped coriander leaves, I left the lid of the pan open and cooked for another five minutes. A delicious potato curry was ready.
