Story:Late but on the right track
A young man named Rashed used to blame himself every day. He used to say, I started too late, and nothing will happen to me. One day he saw an old carpenter.
The old man was cutting wood slowly. Rashed said, Uncle, if you cut wood so slowly, when will the work be finished? The old man smiled and said, Even though I am cutting slowly, I am cutting straight. The man said again, If you go fast on the wrong path, nothing will be left in the end, and if you go late on the right path, you will reach your destination. That day Rashed understood that delay is not the problem, the direction is the real thing.
He started small, learned a little bit every day, worked a little bit every day. After a few days, people said, Rashed has changed a lot!
He smiled and said, I have not changed, I am on the right path
The lesson from here is:
That you do not stop because you are late. One step on the right path means progress.
