Lalon Shah Shrine

✅ The most popular Baul emperor of Bangladesh is Lalon Shah. Lalon Shah was a great saint. He is very famous for his immortal sayings. Lalon Shah's shrine is in Chheuria village of Kushtia district. Lalon Shah's shrine is a long distance from the city. But the roads are very good to go. Also, the surrounding environment is much more beautiful.

You will understand how beautiful it is when you go. Also, there is a very big field in front of the place where Lalon's shrine is. Where events are held several times every year. Although I have little idea about it, I have tried to present it well. If you want to go to Lalon's shrine, then you have to go to Kushtia district first. From there, you have to go to Chheuria village by any car.

✅Also, everyone has a little idea about Lalon's history. But there is a lot of spirituality in his life. Especially, no one can still determine what caste Lalon belongs to. Those who follow Muslims think Lalon was a Muslim. And those who belong to the Hindu community think Lalon was a Hindu. First of all, Lalon is the son of a Hindu family. I don't know what his real name was then.

He got married at a very young age. And later he got married again. Then he took the hand of his guru and lived a monastic life. Then he got a very bad disease. Then everyone left him. From there, a Muslim family member took care of him. Then he lived with his guru Siraj Sai. And the person who took care of him from the Muslim family gave him a lot of land and property.

He died in 1890. Since then, his shrine has been built. Currently, he has followers to maintain the shrine. Lakhs of followers surround him and sing his songs. His words are very important to them. Also, he has a lot of religious and cultural importance in our country. Especially in the Baul society, he is the highest.

✅Actually, if you see the structure of the shrine, you will like it very much. Especially there is a dome with white color on top. Actually, white color is attractive to all of us. We look at white color. Due to which the shrine with dome looks much more beautiful. There are Baulkuthi around. There is also natural beauty. There are various types of plants around the shrine. You will be impressed when you see them. Especially the peaceful environment there will impress you. I fully believe this.

✅In fact, the environment here is very clean. The inside of the shrine is also very clean. You will be impressed when you see the shrine premises. There is also a place to sit for visitors. Anyone who goes can sit and lie down there. People rest in the entire ground floor of a room. And when the fair is held on the 17th, 18th and 19th of October every year, they rest there. Also, the security there is very good. The environment and security there are also provided from the administrative side. Due to which visitors are there at any time.

✅Also, when you go there, you will see Baul songs and cultural programs happening all the time. Due to which your mind will be much calmer. Because when you see the beautiful songs, prayers and spiritual gatherings of Baul artists in the premises of the shrine, you will feel much better. Especially for me, I like the spiritual atmosphere very much, which is why I always go. Besides, for those who like spiritual atmosphere, all these places are very peaceful. And I like Baul songs very much. And Lalon Shah is called the emperor of Baul songs. He has composed about two thousand songs. Out of them, 200 to 250 songs are popular.

✅In fact, when you go to Lalon Shah's shrine on the 17th, 18th and 19th of October, you will see a crowd of millions of people. Due to the crowd of visitors during the fair, you cannot walk. Still, people come here. Not only during the fair, but throughout the year, people go to Lalon Shah's shrine. The behavior of the people there is very good when you see it. Especially during the fair, you will get a lot of administrative cooperation. Due to which people from all over the world come there. And they are mesmerized by the music all the time. I like this very much.

✅ In fact, my personal feeling about Lalon Shah's shrine is very good. At the end, I shared some of my personal feelings. Actually, I have been listening to Lalon's songs since childhood. My love for Lalon dates back many years. Because the words of Lalon are true. Especially in his philosophy, Lalon is far above any caste, tribe, profession, gender, color. What he says is that I am a human being. My identity as a human being.

In fact, when I went, I felt very good. Because a long-standing dream had come true. I really liked the peaceful atmosphere and spiritual thoughts of the shrine. There are several more graves of his relatives there. My advice would be that you can also go there. Especially those who like Baul saints. I would tell them to visit the Lalon Mela at least once. You will see that you will like it a lot.
