A young man came to learn from a wise teacher.The young man said, I know a lot, but I want to learn more.There was more arrogance than confidence in his tone. The teacher sat him down and started pouring a cup of tea. The cup was full, but the teacher kept pouring. The hot tea overflowed and soaked the table. The young man quickly said, The cup is full! And if you pour it out, everything will be ruined.The teacher looked at him calmly and said, Your mind is like this cup. How can something new enter if you don't empty it first? The young man fell silent. A look of shame and realization appeared in his eyes. That day he understood that learning begins when you stop saying 'I know'.
