SLC30-W2 | “Potato Magic Challenge” : Potato Curry – Alur Torkari

Potato is a favorite food of all of us. It is a type of vegetable that can be cooked with all the curries. Today I will cook potato curries.

Make any curry recipe with potatoes and share pictures and details from start to finish.

Ingredients

Potato	3 pcs
Onion	1 large pc
Black cumin	1 tsp
Green chilli	3,4 pcs
Dried chilli	2 pcs
Tomato	1 pc
Coriander leaves	Half cup
Chili powder	1 tsp
Turmeric powder	1 tsp
Mixing garam masala	Half tsp
Garlic paste	1 tsp
Mustard oil	According to the measure
Salt	To taste

Step-01

I put a pan on the stove. I put some mustard oil in it. After the oil got hot, I added dry chilies. Then I added black cumin seeds. I stirred them well.

Step-02

Now I added three chopped potatoes here. I added one spoon of turmeric and one spoon of salt and mixed them well with the potatoes. In this way, I cooked them for a while in the light.

When the potatoes were cooked, I removed the potatoes from the stove and took them in a bowl.

Step-03

Now I added the chopped onion in the pan. I added one spoon of salt. Then gradually I added one spoon of garlic paste, three or four green chilies, and one tomato and chopped them. I mixed all the ingredients well.

Step-04

I added turmeric, chilie, powder and garam masala powder here. I added one cup of water to cook the masala well. Then I ground the masala well.

Step-05

After frying the spices, when the oil came to the top, I added the fried potatoes. I fried the potatoes well in the spices.

Step-06

Now I will cook the potatoes with enough water. So I added enough water. I increased the heat of the stove a little and started cooking.

Step-07

My cooking is almost finished. Now I added the chopped coriander leaves here. I mixed the coriander leaves well with the curry.

My recipe is ready. I will now turn off the stove.

Step-08

My cooking is finished. I served the recipe in a beautiful bowl.

Adding whole black cumin seeds to the potato curry brought a difference to the recipe. I personally liked it a lot. I found it very unique and tasty.
