In Bangladesh, there was a movement to resign Sheikh Hasina in 2024. During this movement, many students of Bangladesh died. To preserve the memory of these students, such graffiti has been created in different places in Bangladesh. Such graffiti is created on the walls of Airport Road in our Saidpur city. This graffiti was drawn after August 2024. Now the drawings have been erased a little.

Your personal experience, or anecdotes about the place or art you selected.

The place where I selected the graffiti. It carries many memories. In July 2024, we held a movement to suppress Sheikh Hasina. Most of the students who led that movement died. They died because of the movement. Graffiti is drawn on every wall to preserve the memories of this movement. Different types of incidents happened during the movement. I know that those incidents are not erased. That is why different types of graffiti are drawn on the walls based on these incidents.

This is what most calls your attention this is the place of this work of art?

I found an artwork in this place very interesting. There is a graffiti painted in that place. This graffiti had one thing written on it. That is No matter how big the injustice, the power of justice is even greater. It was written there in Bengali. This writing affected my mind. It is really true. That is why it attracted me.

How does this touch of art change the mood of your daily routine?

These graffiti affect my daily life. I did not see the Language Movement of 1952. At that time, many people were martyred for our mother tongue, Bengali. Similarly, in July 2024, many students were martyred for establishing justice. I saw this movement of 2024 with my own eyes. The images of this movement still come to my mind through the graffiti I draw. When I recall those memories, my mind and mood change. There is a different feeling in my body.

Writing on the Wall - Women to Women Rebellion

Do you think art and color are important to people who walk there every day?

Yes, I think art and color play an important role for people who walk down the street every day. The graffiti that has been painted on the walls of our Saidpur city. These graffiti affect our student community. They remind us of the memories of July 2024 again and again. These memories are really not to be forgotten. Even if someone forgets those memories. If the pictures on the wall catch his eye, then he remembers 2024 again. In fact, the main reason for drawing graffiti is so that we do not forget the memories that happened before us. They should come to our eyes again and again. And we remember them again and again.

If you were the artist, what other detail or color would you add to that place to make it even more special for you?

If I were an artist, I would have painted several more pictures to make this place more special. So that people never forget the memories of July 2024.
