Here we are again with the second round of TotoSteem and my out‑of‑competition predictions for the selected matches!

My first attempt didn’t go too well, since I managed to guess only 2 out of 8 results. Not trusting my skills as a predictor, last week I tried an “infallible” technique: picking outcomes different from the ones I actually wanted to bet on.

However, the results ended up making my “fortune‑teller average” even worse, now sitting at roughly an anonymous 50%. So I’m going back to a technique invented by an old uncle of mine: “projection into the future.” Since it works more or less “halfway,” if you manage to guess the right one, there’s a good chance you might win a prize.

Of course, I’m joking — nobody has a crystal ball and this is just a game. Here are my predictions:

1️⃣ Lecce vs Monza: 2

The Lombard side have collected just one point so far — last Sunday on Parma’s pitch — but even in the other matches they lost, they didn’t look bad at all. The time feels right for their first Serie A win of the season.

2️⃣ Sassuolo vs Juventus: 2

Held to a home draw by Milan last week, Spalletti’s men need a quick bounce‑back to avoid losing touch with the leading pack. Sassuolo haven’t started the season badly, but this match looks well within the Bianconeri’s reach.

3️⃣Manchester Utd vs Manchester City: X

Okay, on paper there’s no contest. The visitors look clearly favored, but relying on the law of large numbers, it would feel odd to see three straight “away wins.” I’m going with a draw, which could end up satisfying both teams.

4️⃣ Real Sociedad vs Atletico Madrid: 1

For the Colchoneros, fresh off their midweek cup efforts, this is a tough trip to one of the hardest grounds in Spain. Real Sociedad come into the match with seven points from their last three and seem to be in great form, so I’m backing them to win.

5️⃣ Getafe vs Deportivo LC: X

The visitors are coming off one of their best league starts in recent years, but I don’t think they can truly pose a real threat to the big teams. Getafe are certainly not a powerhouse, yet at home they turn into a different side. A draw, in my view, is the most likely outcome.

6️⃣ Elversberg vs Bayern Munchen: 1

The question is just one: will Bayern feel the effects of their European clash against the fearsome Norwegians of Bodø/Glimt? Sure, the Bavarians aren’t lacking a deep bench, but will the rotations be enough to withstand the enthusiasm of the “terrible newcomer,” who so far have done nothing but win? To me, this smells like a sensational upset.

7️⃣ Brest vs Paris St. Germain: 2

For the first of the two Ligue 1 matches on the slip, you could almost copy‑and‑paste the same reasoning used for Bayern, with one important difference: PSG have already dropped points in the league and can’t afford any more missteps. The 6–1 they put past Slovan Bratislava will likely fire up the two‑time European champions, and I expect them to head home with all three points.

8️⃣ Le Mans vs Lens: X

Perhaps the most evenly balanced match of the eight and, as such, one with a “natural” outcome of a draw that already feels written in the stars.
