Parbatipur Upazila Livestock Hospital

For this contest, I chose a government institution in my area called the Parbatipur Upazila Livestock Hospital. It is located in Parbatipur town, Dinajpur, near my home. People can easily reach the hospital by rickshaw or van from the town for about 10 BDT. This hospital provides treatment and healthcare services for cattle, goats, sheep, poultry, ducks, chickens, and other domestic animals.

People visit this hospital to get medical treatment for their animals. There are two BCS veterinary surgeons working here, along with several other officers and staff members who take care of animal health and welfare. The hospital also distributes different government livestock support materials and provides advice to farmers.

I visited this hospital with one of my elder brothers because his goat was sick. We explained the problem to the veterinary doctor, and they carefully examined the goat. After the check-up, they provided the necessary treatment and prescribed the required medicines. I was happy to see their friendly and professional service.

One of the best things about this hospital is that many government services are available free of charge. Medicines, vaccinations, and other essential livestock healthcare services are provided without any cost. The hospital is open Sunday to Thursday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, while it remains closed on Friday and Saturday. The environment is clean, peaceful, and well maintained.

Treatment time

I recommend this hospital to everyone who has domestic animals. If your livestock becomes sick or if you need expert advice, this is a very helpful place to visit. Many people in our area still do not know about this government facility. Through this post, I hope more people will learn about it and use this valuable service to keep their animals healthy.
