Rampura Govt. Primary School

I chose an old primary school near my home to participate in this contest. This school is located close to Parbatipur town and was established in 1923. In the beginning, it started with only a few buildings, and over time, more buildings were gradually added. Since it is a primary school, students from class one to class five study here. The school runs its academic activities in two shifts—some classes are held from morning to noon, and the rest take place from 1 PM to 4 PM. The environment of the school is very beautiful and peaceful, with many trees planted inside the campus, which helps students feel comfortable while studying. This is a very old and important school in our area; in fact, it used to be the only school within several kilometers. I was also a student of this school.

Entry and Old building

Nowadays, because many new schools have been established in different places, especially in towns, the number of students here has decreased. Many parents now prefer to send their children to kindergarten schools, thinking they provide better education. A few years ago, under the direction of the Bangladesh government, a new building was constructed in this school. It is a three-story building with a nice and modern design, which looks very attractive. When we studied here, these new buildings did not exist; there were only old buildings, which have now been replaced. To keep students engaged and active, the school arranges different kinds of Sports , and there are also some play equipment where students can enjoy themselves during breaks.

There are a few small shops near the school where students can buy snacks they like. The teachers in this school are very caring and teach students with great attention. The school also has enough open space for sports and other activities because physical activities are important for students’ overall development. Students enjoy playing different games during their free time and study happily, hoping for a better future.

Shifting hours

Although the number of students has decreased nowadays due to the rise of city schools, the contribution of this school can never be forgotten, because it is from schools like this that many of us, including me, started our early education.
