Shaiq Old and New Book Depot is one of the best book depot. It is very useful and play an important role in the education. All those who cannot buy new books come here to find used books here. Sometimes they give fresh pieces at great discounts to facilitate the students. It is situated in Depalpur supermarket next to Mirza Book Depot.

Stairs to get inside Shop in Basement

The shop is situated in the basement. To get inside there are stairs at two steps. First steps are to get on the door of the shop and then the further set of stairs lead the customer inside the shop. Around the stairs there is a steel support to protect the customers from falling outward.

Fan, AC, Lights and Ceiling

In the shop there is proper environment both for the hot and cold weather. There is an air conditioning system to lower the temperature in the hot weather to make the environment comfortable. There is a ceiling fan which continuously works to make the environment lovely. Then to support the clear view there are lights inside the ceiling. On the wall there is a beautiful decorated glass piece of art.

New Arrival

In the shop to maintain the demands by the customers the shop keeps on sticking new books and notebooks. If you need a specific book which is not available then we can ask them to order that book and later on we can receive our order. When new books and notebooks arrive they are initially ordered near the entrance.

Registers

The shop also offers the purchase of the big registers. There are neat as well as rough registers starting from 100 PKR and so on. Near the registers we can see some old books as well which are useful for the preparation of different jobs.

Novels & Poetry

Novels and pottery books are very unique and they are hard to find. This book depot also has a reasonable stock of the famous poetry books by the famous poets. They have displayed poetry books by Jon Elia on the right side. On the left side there is a collection of novels. Each novel is unique and useful.

New & Old Practical Books

Practical books are usually very costly than simple homework notebooks. This shop solves this problem of the needy students by providing them old practical books at low price but still the syllabus matches with the current syllabus because we know syllabus does not change each session. At the bottom there are printed notebooks with the name of the institutions.

Premier Level Books For Children

In the shop we can see books for the children for the preparatory and nursery sessions. There are also some general books which are used at home teaching as a beginner level to bring children on a track of learning.

Pouches, Pen Boxes, Led Pencils

There are pouches, pens, and led pencils. Customers can buy different types and colours of pouches here. Similarly there is a wide variety of the pens and led pencils. The ready to use sharp edge led pencils are available.

Display of Markers, Pens, Ink, Ballpoint

Near the counter on the wall there is a big display of the pens, markers, and ball points. It makes it easy for the customers to pick a suitable pen and other items for them.

Used Books of different grades, Whiteners, Highlighters, Double Sided Markers, Inverter

On the counter there is another display of stationery items such as highlighters, whiteners, double sided markers, and ink removers. On the back there are old books for the different grades.

Books I Bought

I was looking for some books for a pre-primer student. I found those books in fresh form from the shop. But I got a discount of 25% on the books. It shows a gesture for the prices of the things at this shop. I bought all these books for 1650 PKR.
