Tomb Baba Mastana, Chorasta Main Khan
Hello everyone!
Baba Mastana was a pious saint and his grave is at this place. This is the most peaceful place and is situated near the populated area. This picture represents the exterior of the tomb.
It was constructed recently again and due to which some work is pending for it's exterior. The tomb is very tall and at the top there is a well-known style dome which represents the architectural capabilities of the local architects.
This is the grave of saint and it is inside the tall tomb. The grave is very old and it was not destroyed during reconstruction but on the previous grave new tiles were installed. The grave is covered with the green pieces of clothes.
The tomb has been built in the circular form. On the surrounding walls marble tiles are used which are fancy and decorated. On certain distance name plates of marbles can also be seen. Each name plate is in between a specific design.
There are two entrance doors to get inside the tomb to visit the grave. Commonly one door is open and one remains closed as you can see in the picture. These are wood doors of green colour.
On the wall above the entrance door there is a fan. This is very useful and used in the hot weather. It works with the help of a string which is used to turn it on/off and changing it's speed.
In order to make the environment beautiful and more lovely the management has installed lights in the tomb. These are small lights which makes the interior beautiful.
Besides these bulbs there are very small lights just like pores. These are of different colours. These are like strings and are spread around the walls and in the center.
Inside the tomb there is a green colour, small donation box made up of metal. Anyone who wants to donate any money for the tomb can use this donation box. All the money is spent for the development of the tomb and to provide facilities to the visitors as well as for the caretakers.
This is the broom which is only used to clean inside the tomb. It is not used outside. Commonly coconut broom are used for cleaning floors but it is not made up of coconut but it a soft broom which is made of locally grown plants.
