Name, Location and Opening Hours

The name of this railway station is Jashore Railway Station, and it is located inside Jashore city. From any part of the city, passengers can easily reach the station by auto-rickshaw, van, or rickshaw.

This railway station remains open 24 hours a day because trains run to different destinations at different times. To ensure convenience for all passengers, the station stays open all day and night.

Structure, Environment & Decoration

The structure of Jashore Railway Station is quite old, but the environment is pleasant and well-maintained. There are three platforms at this station, and trains traveling to Benapole, Dhaka, and Khulna operate regularly from here.

This is an important junction station of Bangladesh Railway. Passenger trains, goods trains, and freight trains all operate through this station. The station is nicely decorated and kept clean and tidy. The railway authority regularly supervises cleanliness so that no garbage is visible anywhere.

Overall, Jashore Railway Station is a well-known and important railway station in Bangladesh.

Details About Its Services

Bangladesh Railway is a public service organization that serves the people of the country. Along with passenger trains, goods and freight trains also operate from this station.

Various types of goods are transported through trains such as Khulna Mail and Godhuli, and these goods must be booked through the Station Master. Bangladesh Railway also has its own postal service, which transports letters and parcels from one place to another responsibly.

To improve passenger comfort, Bangladesh Railway is continuously importing modern engines and coaches to enhance service quality.

Other Facilities

Jashore Railway Station has ample parking space for small and large vehicles. There is also an information center, which is especially active during Eid or peak travel seasons.

The entire station is under CCTV surveillance, ensuring passenger safety. Safe drinking water and food facilities are available so that passengers do not face any inconvenience. There is also a designated prayer area where Muslims can perform Salah peacefully.

Because of all these facilities and the beautiful environment, I personally like Jashore Railway Station very much.

Overall Experience

All train operations and information at this station are controlled by the Station Master, and passengers can get accurate information directly from them. There is also a complaint box placed in front of the Station Master’s room where passengers can submit complaints. Based on these complaints, railway authorities take necessary action after investigation.

Earlier, tickets for the Bandhan Express (Bangladesh–Kolkata) were also issued from this station.

From every aspect, Jashore Railway Station feels like one of the best stations to me. Security, cleanliness, facilities, and its importance as a junction connecting Dhaka, Khulna, Mongla, and Benapole make it very special. This station truly reflects the progress and service quality of Bangladesh Railway.
