Final preparations for threshing and harvesting rice

Assalamu Alaikum. Greetings Sri Lankan community. How are you all? I hope by the grace of Allah, you are all well. Alhamdulillah, by the grace of Allah, I am also well. I pray to Allah that we are always well.

Today I would like to share with you a post about the activities of farmers to bring their crops home. I hope you all will like this post today and you will enjoy it.

Rice seeds were sown during the rainy season. When the seeds were sown, after a few days, seedlings emerged from there. The seedlings were carefully removed from the seedbed and then a crop land was prepared. Rice was planted in the crop land and the rice started growing slowly.

By taking care of it, crop production started from there. At one point, the crop started growing and it was almost time for the crop to ripen. When the rice was ripe and it was time to harvest it.

The farmer in our village had already cut the rice and kept it in the field. When the rice dried in Rudra, it was time to bring it home and thresh it.

Farmers are carrying the ripe paddy from the field on their heads. Then they are kept in a place and there are two people to thresh the paddy. Who are very skilled in the work of threshing paddy.

The paddy is being threshed using an engine-driven machine. This is really a very wonderful process and through which the paddy threshing process was going on. I liked this very much.

Some time ago, when paddy was threshed by hand or with a bullock plough, it was very time-consuming. Moreover, it was a lot of hard work.

However, nowadays modern agricultural machinery has improved our standard of living even more. Now instead of bullocks, we can complete our activities very easily with the help of engine-driven paddy threshing machines.

The rice threshing process is underway. On the other hand, a person is storing the rice in sacks and they are taking it to their homes.

The rice straws will be kept in a specific place on the top and they are being separated. Because rice straw is very suitable for cattle food and it is a very tasty food. This cow straw plays a very important role in fulfilling the vitamin needs of the domesticated animals.

Farmers produce crops by burning in the sun and getting wet in the rain. Finally, when they can take those crops home, they take them to their food house for the year. That is, a family meets their rice needs from the rice they produce. And the food needs are met for the whole year.

Not only do farmers take care of their families. They also take care of their livestock and the livestock feed is made from this rice.

After the rice is stored, it is separated and the straw is stored for livestock feed. During the rainy season, livestock feed is stored from this straw.

In other words, the farmers of our village are currently very busy in raising food and feeding livestock. Finally, I am very happy to share this wonderful lifestyle blog with you. Thank you very much for enjoying it.

Best regards
