Steem Heights (Season 19) Gameplay and My Experience

Following the conclusion of Season 18, I have just wrapped up Day 2 of the highly anticipated Steem Heights (Season 19). After a stellar performance on Day 1, I returned to the game on September 19th with renewed enthusiasm and the goal of achieving a top score.

Ever since these gaming features were introduced on Steemit, I have been a regular player of the platform's two games: Steem Heights and Snake. I thoroughly enjoy playing them every day; I feel that Steemit games play a fantastic role in relieving work-related stress and the mental fatigue accumulated throughout the day.

I’ve noticed something interesting—many of the regular gamers on our platform are performing exceptionally well in both titles, consistently holding top spots on the leaderboards for both Snake and Steem Heights! In my view, engaging in this friendly competition with them is both enjoyable and challenging.

As of the end of Day 2 on September 19, the competition feels like it has really heated up. Other players are also putting up impressive runs. I am currently in 2nd place, battling to overtake the leader and claim the top spot.

🎮 Day 2 gameplay experience: the challenges of wind and timing

On September 19th—my second day—I played several rounds. I find the game's 'Classic Climber' mode incredibly thrilling; in this mode, the goal is to build a towering structure by stacking blocks or tiles on top of one another.

• In one round, I reached a height of 108m, securing a +32m bonus thanks to a streak of 16 consecutive combos.

• In another round, I managed to climb to 106m, achieving 15 combos and a +30m bonus.

Although the game might appear simple at first glance, it demands precise timing and intense focus when dropping blocks—especially as the wind shifts direction at higher altitudes (for instance, my gameplay featured wind blowing left at 0.1 and right at 1.6). In my experience, even the slightest error in timing or a momentary lapse in concentration can cause the tower to lose its balance and collapse!

Family Moments & Enjoying the Game Together

To me, the most beautiful and heartwarming aspect of this game is the sweet reaction of my family members while I play. Just like on the first day, when I sat down to play on the second day, my wife and little daughter stood beside me, watching the game with keen interest.

They, too, share a sense of sweet anxiety and excitement—wondering if I am aligning the blocks correctly or if the wind is getting in the way. I feel that the experience of sharing this joy and playing with my family right by my side is truly special! 😊

I believe that every season on Steemit brings us a new challenge and an opportunity to learn. The more players who regularly participate in the games, the greater the thrill of competition becomes. In my view, this friendly competition with fellow players makes the daily gaming experience far more engaging.

In my opinion, Steem Heights is one of the most entertaining web-based physics and block-building arcade games on the Steemit blockchain platform. We can easily join this game through Steemit's gaming community and the SteemPro platform.

The main goal of the game is to build a tall tower by placing blocks or tiles on top of each other perfectly. It has a classic climber mode, where you have to arrange hanging or moving blocks from above with perfect timing by tapping on the screen. • Timing is everything: When the hanging or moving block on the screen comes right next to the block below, you have to tap and drop it.

• Focus on Center: When dropping, you have to make sure that the block falls exactly in the middle. If you move away from the center, the extra part of the block is cut off and becomes smaller.

• Perfect Combo Bonus: If you can place multiple blocks in a row perfectly in the middle, you get Combo points and extra height bonuses.

• Pay attention to the wind speed (wind effect): The higher the tower rises, the more the wind speed will increase. So in my opinion, you should calculate the wind fluctuations and drop a little more slowly.

• Unlimited Tries: If your total number of tries is high in the game, no points are deducted. So even if you fail, it is possible to reach the highest height by trying again and again.
