The diary game for 17/09/2026 We are having a function at our house today.
Hello friends, I hope you are all doing well. By the grace of Allah, I am doing very well too—Alhamdulillah. Today was a wonderful day for me. After waking up in the morning, I was busy with various tasks; since there was an event taking place, I had a lot to do. After I got up, the decoration crew arrived and began their work, including the preparations for cooking.

The decoration team started their work efficiently, and I kept an eye on their progress from a distance to ensure everything was being done correctly. Meanwhile, I attended to some chores inside the house; since many relatives were expected, the house needed to look nice. I tidied up my own room and organized the other rooms as well.
When the cooking preparations began, there were still some important tasks left—specifically, chopping onions and cucumbers. We decided to handle this the night before so that everything would be ready for the cooking process during the day without any hassle. I chopped the onions thoroughly and stored them in the refrigerator.
In the morning, I watched the cook at work; he had started cooking using various spices and was doing an excellent job. I observed the process from afar, and the way he was cooking made everything look very appealing. I, too, focused on completing my own tasks properly.
Today was my brother's circumcision ceremony, an occasion that involves the ritual slaughter of a goat. One of our goats was slaughtered, and a group of people worked together to butcher and cut the meat. I handed them the necessary bowls and basins so they could keep the meat pieces organized. The cooking preparations proceeded smoothly.
Later, the place became quite crowded, and I was too busy with work to take any more photos. Many relatives arrived; I chatted with them and met family members I hadn't seen in years. It was a wonderful feeling to reconnect with them thanks to this event. After the meal and the event concluded, everyone set off for home; I stood outside watching them as they prepared to leave after finishing their tasks.
The decoration crew arrived and neatly arranged everything; once the event was over, they tidied up, packed everything onto their van, and hauled it away. They had brought and beautifully set up the decorations in the morning and removed them after the event—this is the standard procedure. When we hire decorators for an event, they arrange everything beautifully and then take their belongings away afterward; the service is essentially a rental for the duration of the event.
I didn't feel like doing much after the event ended. I returned to my room to rest, and later, after having dinner, I prepared for bed; I had spent the entire day busy with various activities.
