I will recount the events of the major flood that struck the city of Lhokseumawe. Heavy rain fell continuously for three days, and on Wednesday night the water began to rise and cover the roads. At 3:00 a.m., the water had already entered my house, which is located in the city center. By morning, the floodwaters were already knee-deep. The floodwaters had not receded, and the rain continued to fall heavily for another day.
