Welcome to my garden / Community garden.
Community gardens are not merely origo food crops, but also the best place to plant ornamental plants, which are sources of beauty, shade and ecological benefit. The decorative vegetation here is young nursery plants neatly planted in rows, and are kept in the partial shade of the palm trees. Their bright green foliage and erect stature makes them particularly appealing when it comes to landscape designs at shared areas like in schools, parks and neighborhood gardens.
The growth of these ornamental plants is still in the tender stages and they are planted in small black nursery bags whereby the roots can mature before they are planted. They are small at this stage, and are easily ported around hence suitable to community projects where people are involved in planting days in large numbers. When planted to the ground, numerous of these ornamental species may be cultivated to medium or even large size, depending upon the variety, in thick masses of foliage that may serve to mark out garden walks and shaded rest.
One of the most unique features of these plants is the adaptability of these plants. A majority of the ornamental tropics plants are suitable in warm climatic conditions and in semi-shady spots; hence they can be planted beneath high trees. Their length and thinness of leaves suggest that they may become bushes or palm like, thus may be able to provide a stratified look to the landscape of the garden. This is due to the fact that layered planting method is the widely used technique in community gardens where they co-locate the taller species with the medium species and the low growing ornamental species to ensure the creation of a well balanced and attractive landscape.
It is not very difficult to take care of such ornamental plants. They need to be watered frequently in their early life stages particularly when in nursery bags and they also need well-drained soil when transplanting. The introduction of organic compost is used to enhance the root growth and promote healthy development of the leaves. After being laid, several ornamental plants are more tolerant to dryness and need fewer upkeep activities.
The ease of reproduction is another significant benefit since a lot of decorative flora is reproduced without much effort. They may be commonly propagated through seeds, cuttings or division, and hence community members can grow the garden over the years without necessarily buying new plants. This renders ornamental gardening to be pocket friendly and environmentally friendly.

Through community gardens, in which ornamental plants are grown, people are able to establish environments that are not only fruitful, but also hospitable and relaxing. These plants are biodiversity, enhance the aesthetic environment, and avenue of learning and cooperation, therefore they are an indispensable aspect of a successful community garden.
I'm inviting @pea07, @abdullahw2 and @bela90 to participate in this contest.
