Can't wait for turkey next week, looks so good!
You should just buy more Steem! And take a look at BAT and WTC if you want to read about not top 20 coins, both are unique projects that are moving forward. Not that I recommend buying into either one, they are just novel.
I'll probably end up with more steem sooner or later. I want 5000 at some point. As you can see with 100 free my upvote is 0, which is also why I loaned it. I know it's all in my head since sp value remains the same regardless of relative usd or btc prices. Will definitely get more as long as I keep using Steem.
BAT interests me, but I recently got burned with PRL so I am reluctant, even though it is different and I am a Brave Browser user on my mobile.
Not sure about WTC. Maybe I will have to see if they matured as a team, they were being immature for the longest time. What is your take on security tokens. Some people avoid them like thebplague, but most utility tokens lack utility and are a risk, whereas some security tokens are getting seemingly legit licensing amd recognition.
I bought some WTC. Not much. Just enough to get me interested and to watch it. It seems like a good project, but I wouldn't buy any more, unless it was enough to get a masternode, otherwise it's probably not a good investment.
They did an airdrop just for masternode holders a little while ago, which I thought was really bad economics. I don't hold BAT, but I use the Brave browser all the time. It's great for watching Youtube videos without ads.
Im in another project with masternodes. When I asked what are the benefits for non-masternode holders beyond the utility of the token, they had no acceptable answer. So I am deciding my exit point. It's not like Steem witnesses where they can be voted out and have to do a little effort. Unless Binance or some fund has masternodes and shares with anyone who holds there, most people will be disadvantaged. I am going to stay away from anything with too many complex benefit schemes. My interests are benefits from immediate use or price speculation. If I want to collect points I will play a video game.
Your turkey dinner sounds great. I don't think I'll have a traditional Christmas meal this year :(
I don't want to convince you to buy any crypto, but I'll mention a couple of projects that are my favourites. First Cardano. I'm sure you know all about it. I think this project will be the one that mainstream companies turn to for their blockchain solutions. Another project I like is NANO, because of the zero transaction fees and no supply inflation. While other coins are constantly mining new coins, NANO's supply stays the same.
ADA is actually on my watch list, I want to start a position. Guess it is off to the charts for TA. I don't own any directly now. I have always been reluctant because my hardware wallet doesn't support it. I suppose I could leave it on Binance since I think the offset of hodling or never selling syndrome for the risk of Binance exchange hack in 2019 is worthwhile to some degree.
Nano is interesting. I used to own a little before the name change sent it skyrocketing in value. It is fast and cheap even compared to XRP. Long term I don't know about sustainability given no fees and no inflation. Always thought some well measured inflation was a good thing, but then again better than miners, a shadowdy group or populist egotistical leader being in charge. Hardware wallet does support it which is a plus. Maybe ill consider it for my next currency/payment token.
Thanks for the suggestions. Anything on storage or computing?
Shame to hear you aren't able to get a Christmas dinner this year.
Congrats!
Am hungry again!

They do favour 5000WTC holders quite a bit and that's too much to hold IMO

Thank you for the good suggestion of ADA and BAT. I've taken out very small positions on both more to follow with keen interest than anything for now.
I've only just seen this message. I think you'll be happy with ADA when Shelley is released. Should be coming soon.
