Is not having a lot of Steem Power making you sick?

I wish I was a whale.

What would you do if you had a lot of Steem Power? Would you work to build more communities around steem? Would you use your big influence to encourage and motivate those who are less in power? Interestingly, there seem to have a large gap between big accounts and little ones due to some lack of interactions between them.

There is no doubt, having a bigger stake comes with big advantages, but do the ones who are small account owners have to suffer for not being part of the privileged ones. Let’s consider together what it takes to grow an account.

I have made some research so far on some whales and dolphins and I come to the conclusion they are using same ingredients recipes.

Investment: It is evident that one must put some skin in the game to gain in influence. The big players have invested large amount of money into their accounts.

Time: When it comes to time, big accounts have plenty to spend. They are very active and are very good at curating good contents regularly. Yes I know many of them are also using bots to suck in the reward pool (that’s another story).

Community: They are community builders. They work hard for this by posting something engaging and helpful for their audience every day.

So, growing an account when you don’t have enough money and time is no doubt difficult. But it’s possible.

The good news is you can build a community. Finding the right people to move along with as a community will require determination and consistency. And doing this with optimism will just make the experience more enjoyable as you gain more influence.

I wish you all success possible.
