Steem seems to keep a somewhat consistent volaility trend. If it goes down it comes back up but the average tends to stay consistent. I mean you can see the flatness of those plots straight away.
That's just the see-saw bottom pattern, the longer it stays this way, the bigger the step jump will be when it really moves to a higher level.
