Adventure in the Sabang island part I
Hi Steemit friends...!
Good afternoon ...!
Today I want to tell you about the Japanese Fortress living in the land of Sabang.
It did not occur to me how beautiful the panaroma radiating the small W-shaped island in the westernmost tip of Indonesia, WEH Island has a history and mute witness to the Japanese and Dutch colonization in Indonesia. Of the many historical evidence located in Aceh one of which is the Japanese Citadel located in Anoi Black Village, Suka District, Sabang City.
Historically Since July 14, 1942 Sabang has been the headquarters of the 7th Armada expedition from Japan, also reinforced with coast guard units, Transportation, Marine Ship Eiko Marinir and Murakumo Destructor Murakumo and Destructor Yugiri. From here it can be seen how important the position of this island for japan to face the Allies in the Indian Ocean region. and during the period 1942-1945 Sabang became a large naval base, the Sea of Japan often stopped in Sabang, mainly for refueling, logistics and water. But on September 1, 1945 the entire Japanese Fleet under the heat of Sabang, along with Operation "Sunfish" which in the alliance invaded Sabang, with the power of 25 warships, Raid led by Admiral Walker.
On the way to this Japanese fortress we will always be served suguhkan very exsotis that makes the heart more peaceful and do not want to turn away from the charm of this Weh Island charm. Arriving at the Japanese Palace we will walk to the castle up the stairs to reach the top of the bengteng, upon arrival at the castle we can enjoy the waves crashing into the rocks, the breeze that will make the cold and big air. The dancing trees welcomed the arrival and peace, until our eyes were fixed on the straits of Malacca as far as the eye with the blue sea with small stones that made us more eager to pursue the photographs. so we can show our generation later.
Make friends who want to visit Sabang while still maintaining and respecting the existing culture in Sabang, taking care of existing tours in Sabang, do not throw rubbish into the sights - a place that still exists in our nuances. next genera1. item
