I am also a fan of steem-bounty, have tested it out on a recent post and it works well, sparks some extra engagement which is great. One of the only problems I have found is that you will get a bunch of free loaders or comment teams come to your post and leave comments without even giving an upvote to your post, and then they all upvote each other to claim higher bounty payouts. Maybe this is something @knircky can address in the future. All in all though, its solid and looking forward to using it again in the future.
We have adressed this with the possibility of downvote. You can downvote someone with less than 1% of your vote and he will get 0 rewards.
Do u have other ideas how this should get adressed?
Nice, I didn't know that was a feature, good to know. Something else would just be putting it in the post to urge users to upvote posts, not just comment. I know its basic but maybe it would work. I don't like having to downvote people, would rather they just smarten up and at least give an upvote to a post where the user is trying to benefit the community
