Today we had a great day with the kids from the Club. We marched with the bandoliers, which we did in another location. It was an unforgettable experience!
This has been a great challenge since we started early. We were called in at 9:30 a.m. to prepare and have everything ready for the presentation, which was supposed to take place around midday. We met at the scheduled time and left all our instruments ready. We were already there by 11:00. As we positioned ourselves closer to where we were supposed to start the march, it was already 12:00, and many were hungry; it was lunchtime. Unfortunately, someone told us we would arrive at 3:00 PM.
By 2:00 PM, some were very tired, as it was a time when we should have had lunch. We improvised with some sweets and such. By 2:45 PM, we were told we would begin our march. We got ready and started. To our surprise, we arrived at the official platform where the authorities were seated and stayed to welcome the rest of the marchers, who were certainly many. After us, three groups of firefighters, a classic car association, a shepherds' association, and a horse-riding group passed by. In the end, we were there for about 30 more minutes.
But in the end, it was all worth the wait. By 4:00 PM, we were done. The event was over, and the kids, like us, were very happy and tired. Even with all that, we finished a very happy activity!!!
